Case study – Compliment

Home Care Agencies and Care Homes are often in the media for negative reasons but there are many good news stories and satisfied clients whose stories never get told.
One of our recent success stories demonstrates this.
Prior to discharge from hospital with loss of control of her legs, hands, feet and toes we were approached by our client’s husband asking us if we would be able to provide care at home to give our client the confidence to gradually regain independence with living at home. Nearly a year on with morning and evening visits she is now able to manage alone and only retains the care services for extra support in becoming self-sufficient.
“Our initial aim was to get her established at home after months in hospital. With your care and help she has made the transition without trauma or anxiety and as such the initial aim has been met”. The carers have maintained a consistent pattern and standard of care that has been important to her wellbeing and any minor changes have always been well communicated. She is very happy with the standard of care and has no complaints. It is clear that she would not have been able to do this without the help of County Care Berkshire and her trusted carers.”
